Cleaning Services

UCS has been established since 2005 and throughout the team we have over 40 years of combined experience in the commercial cleaning industry. Our specialty is apartment blocks, working with a number of block management organisations, providing our unique multi-discipline package:

We provide a regular and structured cleaning service that includes your internal communal or common areas. This can be tailored to your specific needs.
We provide high reach window cleaning using the latest and most efficient equipment.
We also carry out high reach gutter cleaning using a powerful vacuum method that minimises disruption and additional mess.
Additionally, we carry out steam extraction carpet cleaning.
We can advise you on a suitable schedule of works for all these areas so that ultimately potential remedial work on the building is kept to a minimum.
Also, if you have bin stores, we can look after these, keeping them clean and tidy, and arranging the removal of large bulky items that have been irresponsibly deposited.

Routine Property Maintenance

Inevitably in block management there will be small maintenance jobs that need to be carried out, such as:

Grounds Maintenance

Compliance Testing

As health and safety regulation becomes more complex, your responsibilities as a property manager increases constantly. You not only want to ensure that the residents are as safe as possible in the event of an emergency, but you also want to comply with the legislation.

Obviously, you don't have the time to visit every single apartment block you manage to carry out the compliance testing to comply with the legal obligations. This is yet another area in which UCS can help you, as we can provide:

Our teams record all of the testing for you, as well as reporting back to you if anything requires an engineer visit. Our compliance testing service is available as an add-on if you are an existing customer. It is also available in the Somerset area if you would like it as a standalone option, without the cleaning, grounds maintenance or property maintenance.

Secondly, while on site, we often take photographs showing ‘before and after’ results, or to highlight problems so that early intervention can be implemented. We have a proactive approach to this as we realise this can often pre-empt a complaint coming in to you. This hopefully reduces stress and workload for you.
